The Sustainable Communities Corporation (SCC) is an Ohio based 501(c)(4) non-profit regional economic development organization. 

SCC is an offshoot from a previous 501(c)(3) economic development think tank called National Commonwealth Group, Inc. (NCG).

NCG, the primary developer of the Sustainable Communities Framework (SCF) concept, determined that a 501(c)(4) organization, defined as a Social welfare organization, was more appropriate for deploying the SCF concept. (See this comparison between 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations)

SCC is now being led by a highly experienced team of managers and advisors with experience in establishing and running for-profit and non-profit organizations.
